What you’ll learn

  • How to handle your dog calmly — and get them to listen
  • How to deal with unwanted behaviour such as aggression, pulling and anxiety
  • How to read your dog’s body language, and step in at the right moment
  • How to stay confident in the ‘real world’ — on walks, near other dogs, out and about
  • Hands-on practice alongside Jo’s calm, well-balanced pack
  • Honest feedback as you go — ask Jo anything

Why you come too

Jo is training you to train your dog. A lot of problems come down to how your dog sees you and reacts to your energy — and that can’t be fixed by sending your dog away. You need to be part of it.

Most owners see an improvement on the day. What makes it last is keeping up the new rules at home: they’re simple and easy to follow, but they need consistency and repetition.

Who it’s for

Dogs of every breed and size, from Chihuahuas to Great Danes — including reactive and aggressive dogs, nervous dogs, rescues, pullers and dogs with poor recall. Owners travel from all over the UK: one family drove down from Fraserburgh in Scotland.

What owners say

“We had already made the heartbreaking decision to rehome Murphy if this wasn’t a success. A month in, we’ve made more progress with him than in the four years we’ve had him.”
Craig Roxburgh · Murphy, Lurcher
“Jo helped us with our 11-month-old German Shepherd Bella, who was wild when we first rescued her. We still have a way to go, but we have a more rounded dog thanks to Jo.”
Maria Tipler · Bella, German Shepherd
“What a difference the first lesson made. He was pulling away from other dogs, very nervous — by the end he was lying calmly two feet from Jo’s dogs. We travelled down from Fraserburgh in Scotland, and we’re glad we were guided by her advice.”
Forbes West · Labrador · travelled from Scotland
